You're so right about caring for eldery parents not being for the faint of heart! I could relate to so much of what you wrote. I moved my mother in with me when she suddenly developed dementia. It was a steady deterioration filled with doctor visits, home health care people, and finally hospice. She finally died four days short of 102.
