You're right, it's a lot more exhausting now. Everybody comes to my house for the holidays, so at Thanksgiving I had dinner for 17, Christmas Eve for 8, and on Christmas day, both brunch and dinner for 15. I was exhausted. I had to start way in advance cooking, so I could get some done each day because a lot of cooking wears me out. Fortunately, my friends and I mostly meet somewhere for lunch or dinner instead of hosting at home.
