You’re exactly right. When my kids were young I joined Mother’s Morning Out groups, play groups, struck up conversations with mothers at the park, and did everything else I could to get together with other moms. If not I would have gone crazy. My husband traveled all the time and I didn’t have any family nearby that could help out, so I made sure I got hooked up with these other adults.
