You’re a brave, talented and beautiful person. Children long so much for their parent’s love, but in the end we can’t change our parents and they have to be either accepted or rejected for exactly who they are, without expectations. Use your difficult past, as you are doing, to dig deep and be stronger, more creative, more determined. It’s a hard world we live in, especially when children are damaged and mistreated. But we are overcomers and can get past anything to make this life a triumphant victory.
