Your response reminds me of one of my Thrift store customers. She loaded her car full, then talked about how upset her husband would be when she unloaded it. I advised her to walk inside empty handed. Then, over the course of the next few days, sneak things inside. By the time he noticed the chair, or the rug, or whatever and asked about it, she could say, "You never noticed that before? It's been around for weeks."
