You went through a lot back in those days! In the metropolitan, multicultural area of the South that I live in, biracial is so common that it seems to be the norm. My grandson, who is white, is dating a black girl, and nobody things anything of it. He went to her house on Thanksgiving day, and she came with him to my house the day after Thanksgiving. I'm glad to see times changing. But oh, so sad that your mother died when you were only 3 weeks old! I'm glad you had your loving family to raise you.
