Yes, Mom’s are sensitive like that sometimes. My own Mama loves the humorous stories I’ve posted about her and always wants to know if I’ve written another one. And as for the rest of my family and friends? They don’t read anything I write, so that gives me a broad runway. But my husband…he reads most of it, and it took me ten minutes to convince him the story (When A Man Disappears) was totally fabricated and had not one scintilla of truth, except maybe the magnolia tree. There was one of those in the yard.
