Writing’s rarely a fair gig. That’s why it’s so hard. At the opposite end of the spectrum (as oppossed to mediocre or crappy stuff getting curated), you’ve got talented writers like the author of Confederacy of Dunces who killed himself because he couldn’t get anybody to publish his book. Then after he died, his mother got it published and it was a bestseller. I’ve read it twice!

Writing’s a crazy, subjective arena. But you can write! You got the gift! No matter what the curators think! And that goes for P.G. Barnett and James Knight too!
