Wow, sorry that happened to you but this is good information. My friend's husband died after knee replacement surgery from an infection. It's not always straightforward. A lot of my relatives refused to get any kind of surgery and llived to ripe old ages, but they didn't care for exercise, so if the knees went bad they just sat around. I hope you're able to excercise and walk again soon.
