A problem with liberals is that they are sometimes overzealous in championing issues with minimal impact on ordinary people’s lives. It is as if they think all the fundamental problems have been solved, and now we can focus on things of secondary importance. Having little experience of hardship themselves, they are hypersensitive to minor crises, e.g., emotional pain, bruised ego, in their immediate surroundings, and highly critical of the forces that have caused them. Their intention is admirable, but they are painfully naïve. They are the product of a very wealthy society. They are spoiled by their own good lives.
