Well done article, Ryan. These young people are unafraid to die or spend their lives in prison because their lives have no love, no meaning, and no purpose. They don't believe in God, so they aren't afraid of hell. They don't believe their lives have value, so they aren't afraid of squandering it. They have bought into a nihilism and hopelessness they are too young to make sense of, so they aren't afraid to leave an earth they believe is bleak and hopeless.
