After my sister-in-law gave us the heads up, my husband went to Www.USPS/com/covidtest and ordered our free at-home Covid tests.
According to CNN, the federal government quietly launched its website to sign up for the tests, allowing people to order a maximum of four tests shipped directly to your house.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday the site is in its beta phase to allow troubleshooting. They were initially planning to launch on Wednesday but are already taking orders.
“We can’t guarantee there won’t be a bug or two,” Psaki said, “but the best tech teams across the administration and the Postal Service are working hard to make this a success.”
Covid testing lines have been long, and we have some travel plans that require Covid-19 tests, so ordering them free online is good news for us and maybe for you, too.
