We are too lawsuit crazy in the U.S., to the point where there are some ridiculous safety requirements. If it isn't all foamed and softened and fenced in with low to the ground slides, it isn't allowed. I don't even find any of the seesaws and merry go rounds I played on as a child, I guess because a child might bounce off.
