This was an interesting read, and you wrote it with such sensitivity. My husband and I got to know another couple while traveling. Right after returning from the trip, the wife began having digestive issues. Then she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died 3 months later. She had seemed fine on the trip. He remarried a year later, at 79 years old. I'm happy he found somebody, as life is for the living and we have to move on.
