This is an excellent article and an accurate analysis. Unlike a lot of people on this platform, the majority of Americans don't want identify politics to prevail, and prefer and capitalist system to a communist one.

Independents voted for Biden because we were sick of Trump, we wanted unity, a good social safety net, an end to hateful divisiveness, a good health care system, kind and sensible treatment of immigrants. But we aren't getting any of that! We don't subscribe to a radical overthrow of the American system and the constitution.
