This bill is just the beginning. The bill Cory Booker has re-introduced into Congress calls for government to purchase 37 million acres of farmland and redestribute it to black farmers. They will be allowed to sell th land in five years, with government having right of first refusal. If government buys the land back, it will be given to another black farmer. There will be an equity commission set up to be on the lookout for farmland.
