There are many good doctors and I appreciate the years they have spent preparing for their career, but one time when I told a doctor who was prescribing antibiotics all the time about a natural preventative for UTI’s his face grew red with anger and he said “BULLSHIT!” Since then I’ve gotten off antibiotics, taken the natural preventatives and avoided UTI’s. Another doctor wanted my mother to get on cholesterol medication for her cholesterol, which was (is) 300. She said absolutely not. She is now 99 years old and I’ve since read articles revealing that women with high cholesterol live longer. So I approach traditional medicine with respect, but not awe. I listen to and have great esteem for doctors, but also research and use my own judgment and knowledge of my body.
