The only thing that has dismayed me about my fellow writers on Medium is that some writers I’ve started getting close to, or whose work I’ve really admired, or people who supported my work, suddenly drop out. I’ve been writing here a long time and so many writers disappear suddenly, without a farewell. They were very active, then all at once gone! Did they get discouraged, or move on to other things, or die, or what? I often wonder where they went, what they’re doing, and miss them.
