The new CEO said in an earlier newsletter that Medium should be a launching pad to other thing, not an end in itself. To me, that means we develop and market to our own audiences if so inclined or we use this platform as a way to find our way to other writing opportunities. It's a blogging site with a built-in audience, but it's not a viable income producer.
