The First Ten Stories Are Ones I’ve Read!

How crazy is that?

The first ten stories to pop up on my Medium feed today are ones I’ve already read, clapped for and commented on. Is that a new thing? Showing me stories I’ve read?

I’m sure there are new stories. I follow too many writers for none of them to be writing anything. And if I’m unable to find them, they’re probably unable to find me.

Is it my browser? No, because I tried a different browser.

Maybe it’s an intentional new algorithm to discourage publication of multiple stories a week, or maybe so much of the staff got laid off that things are less efficient.

I’m just guessing, because I don’t have any answers.

Doing a search of the pubs might be the best solution for reading fresh Medium material.

How are you finding new Medium stories to read?
