That's a good idea, to monitor the coQ10 levels. I haven't taken any supplements yet, as I've had no adverse muscle effects. One positive aspect of statins that I didn't mention in my article was that I used to have sporadic, stabbing nerve pain daily, and that has disappeared. I researched that as well, and discovered that because statins are anti-inflammatory, they could diminish nerve pain. That this was all theoretical. I would not be taking medication if my levels were not so extremely high, but obviously something inflammatory was going on in my body which has since been controlled by the statins.
