That happens to me all the time too. Some people get in your face and demand attention when they’re being ignored, but that’s not me and I suspect it’s not you, either. I sometimes think people put out a certain radar that exudes neediness or lack of security or desire to please, and this sends other people in the opposite direction. On the other hand, being confident enough to think more about whether people are pleasing you than whether you’re pleasing them seems to draw people.
