Thanks, KD. I couldn’t foster either. I remember once when my kids were of high school age and I kept two foster kids for a week and couldn’t wait for that week to be over! They were a handful! We are all equipped to do different things, I guess. When I tell my daughter she has a special calling she disagrees. She just says “No, we’re doing what people are supposed to do.” My daughter is such a no-nonsense woman. We are keeping the kids in January so she and her husband can have some time alone. Your brother sounds awesome, as is your whole family. You’re special, KD, whether you’ve kept foster kids or not. You are using your God-given gift of encouragment in so many ways.
