Thanks for your interesting and thought-provoking comments in describing one way of looking at Jesus’s ministry and recruitment of his disciples. But I’m hoping through the power of the Holy Spirit that I would have the discernment to differentiate between drinking the cool aid offered by Jim Jones or entering into a miraculous movement that brought healing, espoused love and compassion and promised an eternity of peace despite our externa circumstances.
