Thanks for such a thought-provoking and thorough response. That was brave of a teacher to flunk an entire class when they didn’t do the work. This would be a sure-fire way of being “surplussed” in my husband’s school. Teachers come under tremendous fire and the burden is on the teacher when a student fails. Of course that’s not the way it should work. Parents and administrators should support teachers in their efforts to get the best performance from students.
