Thanks for reading Bassey! Interesting question, and I asked them that, too! They didn't start into the adoption process with the idea of adopting a special needs child. They just wanted to provide a child with a home. But they told me they realized any child they adopted from state care would have some kinds of trauma.

When they saw the video of this little girl, she won their hearts. She has the most joyous smile you've ever seen. Their challenges will be great if this goes through. But they are big ones for tackling challenges.
