Interestingly enough, I have heard your opinion from others about referring to the United States as America, and I initially used United States in my title. However, I ultimately changed it to America, for the sake of brevity and interest appeal, and intentionally included "United States" in the subtitle instead.

Of course the song, America the Beautiful, sung by Ray Charles, is so well-known and popular that most people here refer to the United States as America.
