Thanks for having the courage to state your views. Two Republican women in the Senate put together a bill that would codify Roe V Wade into law with abortions allowed up to viability, but Schumer wouldn't allow it to come to a vote. Instead, he introduced an abortion bill he knew would not pass, which would allow abortion throughout the entire nine months.

If our representatives were really interested in helping women secure abortions instead of using it as a fundraiser and point of contention, they would have voted on the less extensive bill.

I also checked on abortion laws in some of those countries we hold in such high esteem. Denmark allows abortion through the first 14 weeks. Sweden goes a little further and allows them up to 18 weeks. Both countries make exceptions for extenuating circumstances like the life of the mother.

Our country has very liberal abortion laws by comparison. And states will be able to continue those liberal laws. And then, if people object to the laws of their state, they can vote in different lawmakers.
