Sometimes those memories are more important than the money. I just turned 70 and had said I didn't want to do anything. But my husband booked us a cruise to Bermuda and we had a great time. Then when we got back the kids surprised me with a party (just us, kids and grandkids). My son and his wife flew in from a different state, and it was a wonderful time.
