People of faith can agree to differ. Some take the complementarian view, that women have different roles such as homemaking, which are equally important but they shouldn't manage a business or preach in a church.
But I believe it would be presumptuous of me to believe God hasn't called women into ministry when I see so many good, dedicated female pastors and teachers who just want to spread Jesus's message of love, hope and salvation.
My female Russian friend started a church in Siberia because no man would do it. My female associate pastor has reignited several outreach ministries at our church and is the first one to arrive when someone is sick or troubled. She preached a wonderful, inspired sermon last week. How can I say these people are sinning or wrong by answering God's call and doing good? Should Joyce Meyer and other women who are reaching thousands of people with the gospel sit down and be quiet because they are women? I don't believe they should. They are answering God's call on their lives.
