Of course some of her decisions were controversial. She was human. Therefore, she could never align with everyone's convictions. But she tried to ease the pain and suffering of the poor, and to help them spiritually, giving herself completely to that cause. Our world is filled with selfish people who can't understand this, or else don't have the grace to make allowances for people's differing beliefs and their very human foibles.
