NO, it wasn’t your fault! It was the guy’s fault! Totally! And as far as not responding appropriately, cut yourself some slack because we ALL look back on situtions when we could have responded better in retrospect. That’s just human nature. When we’re faced with something unexpected and shocking, our emotions are in a jumble and we don’t always think logically.
