My mother drove all the way out of our town to attend a Black church. I went with her whenever I visited, and they had a big, delicious lunch after the service, so we didn't get home until late in the afternoon..

When she died, the black minister spoke at the funeral and her church provided food for our family after the service.

My grandson's girlfriend is black, I have a Native American granddaughter, and I hope one day any friction between races because of color will disappear.
