My husband’s a technology teacher and the black girls are his best students. They never get sent to detention. His biggest problem is getting girls, any girls, to sign up for a technology class. He promotes and pushes the heck out of it, but the girls all drift towards art whereas the boys take the tech classes. But when he does get girls, especially black ones, they excel.
