My friend's husband had a sudden onslaught of AFIB after being super healthy, and the doctor implanted a pacemaker. The lead puntured his heart and his heart filled up with blood. His wife got him to the ER and that saved his life. He was in the hospital for a week. He has had nothing but trouble since that surgery. They still need to do something about the AFIB and are treating it with medicine. He is now slowly improving.
