My children parent in such different ways. My daughter is so strict her kids have tons of chores, must eat what's served at meal time and are never allowed to gripe, grumble, whine or complain. Those kids, I have to admit, are very pleasant to be around, because they know if they're not they'll be banished.

My son and his wife, on the other hand, are absolutely the most indulgent parents you've ever seen. Eat whatever and wherever they want, never do anything they don't want to do, no boundaries. But both sets of kids seem to be turning out okay! They're all loved.
