Motherhood is hard. I can remember being in the bathroom throwing up sick as a dog while my toddler banged on the door. Once when I had the flu and three children, I sent my kindergartener to the bus stop by herself insead of escorting her to the bus. She ended up getting on the wrong bus, but had the wherewithall to tell the bus driver!
