Medium Mysteries Baffle Me

Why don’t I see the stories from people I follow anymore?

Strangers pop up. Not that I don’t like getting acquainted with strangers, but I would love to know when my writing buddies publish.

They’ve vanished into the Medium abyss. If I want to find out what they’re up to, I have to look them up.

And why is my home page so plain? In all Medium’s past iterations, the home page had something that made it look like a home page. Featured stories, featured pictures, featured pubs. Something!

Eye appeal sells. Ease of navigation sells. Modern technology (as in working from your phone) sells.

I’m sure the Medium employees are really, really cool, but maybe they need a salesperson on their team.

Come on, Medium! You can do this! I’m rooting for you! Let’s work together and be the best!
