Medium is Like a Box of Chocolates

This morning when I logged onto Medium, the faces across the front of my screen were gone. Those faces, people I follow who have published something, vanished as suddenly as they appeared the last time Medium did one of its change-ups. Will the faces come back? Maybe. Probably. Who knows?

I also noticed I couldn’t comment more than once on a story. A temporary glitch? Maybe. Probably. Who knows?

Medium changes things up faster than changes in gas prices. I’ve learned to go with the flow. For instance, we can’t write stories on our phones anymore, but I’ve also noticed that sometimes my comments and claps disappear when they’re delivered via phone, so I get on my computer to write and clap, or to double check and see what’s vanished. See? I’m flexible.

And you should be, too, because Medium, as Forrest Gump would say, is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get.
