Many thoughts come to mind. One is the truth that there is nothing new under the sun. We always have wars and rumors of wars.

Another thought is that everybody has doublecrossed Ukraine. They gave up their nuclear arsenal in the nineties with the promise that they wouldn't be invaded, and look what happened. USA signed the Budapest agreement too, so we aren't living up to our end of the bargain regarding them.

My last thought is that we can only do our small part in our own small arena, but we need to do it. If so inclined, we can write about it. If we have money, we can give it. And if we have faith, we can pray.
