Lol! My husband is like that. He buys massive quantities of stuff at Sam’s Club or Costco and it used to drive me crazy. But then I noticed that if unexpected people dropped by, the kids came over or some sick person needed a meal, I always had something handy! What had irked me gradually became an endearing quality.

And the toys piling up, I can relate! One time I decided to clean out all the toys my grandkids hadn’t played with in months and take them all to Goodwill because everything in their play area was getting cluttered. But no sooner had I heaved all that stuff out of the house than my grandkids started saying, “Grandma, where is the dollhouse? Where is the firetruck? Where are my favorite toys?” I was astounded because those kids hadn’t played with the stuff in ages. Just goes to show, it’s hard to know what to do sometimes.
