KimRae, Democrats have to somehow or other figure out why this was such a big loss, then try to do something about it. I'm with you all the way in saving the life of the mother, but to be honest, the optics of this campaign were that the Democrats were running primarily on abortion and little else. It was an unpalatable platform for many. Name calling and referring to half the populatio n as racist or sexist won't work for future victories. This defeat should tell everyone that.
