Jack, I don’t really have any advice since it seems you have the work-life balance priorities in order. I guess as long as you do the best you can with the process without worrying too much about the results, that’s all you can do. Kind of like out motto in Stephen Ministry: You’re in charge of the process; God’s in charge of the results. Just continue to enjoy your writing, love your family, don’t agonize too much over the email list or the responses, and plug away without discouragement. If you have a book in your heart you want to write, maybe you could flip your schedule around a bit? Spend one week on the book, next week on the blogging, or whatever sort of time division works for you? Anyway, it sounds like you have many positive things going!
