I've been thinking about not going back to church after the pandemic. Don't get me wrong! I'm a Christ follower! And my church isn't patriarchal. There are women in leadership. But the church has gotten entirely too political, along with many of the other things you mentioned. The small home church is starting to sound like something that would feed my soul and my spirit more than the structured pews of a church building.
