I’ve always been fascinated by lottery winners and what happens after they win. A man in my neighborhood won $30 million 20 years ago and decided to take payment of $900,000 a year for 20 years (which would account for all the money minus the taxes.) He was in his sixties at the time and his wife had just died before he won. Every year after that he threw a huge neighborhood party after he got his check. I don’t know what he did with the rest of it, because he never remarried, lives in the same house, and already had plenty of money before he on the lottery.

FYI, I would have taken the money all at once :)
