It's fine to pray for healing and that's biblical, but the book you referred to sounds like it presents a list of arguments about as comforting as Job's friends were to him. And we both know how God viewed Job's friends. So I say pray, maybe God will heal. But also know that the miracle has already occurred through Jesus, so that whether healed or not, "all is gain."
