It must have been so tough being a Black woman in the fifties or sixties, when racism was blatant. I was watching the sunset tonight, drinking a glass of wine, enjoying this beautiful world, when I thought about all those people dying in Israel, Palestine, Ukraine, and thought about how privileged I am and how unfair the world is.

So much death and destruction when we should all be embracing this lovely life and all it has to offer. Why must people continue to hate, to discriminate, to pursue violence, instead of living, loving, learning, and making the most of our precious time on this extraordinary planet?

Keep on writing your amazing articles, which provide healing both for yourself and for your readers.
