Isn't it interesting how much emphasis we place on physical appearance and what other people think? One of my best friends in middle school told me I could never be beautiful because I had freckles, and people with freckles could only be cute. I never forgot that remark. Now that I'm old, I'm happy if somebody thinks I'm cute.
