Interesting story and good writing. Sometimes our youngerr selves are so lucky, it's amazing when we escape certain situations unscathed. When my husband was a young businessman, he traveled a lot and his colleagues always planned trips to strip clubs while they were out of town. My husband didn't go with them. He repeated some advice he had heard once: Never be anywhere you wouldn't want on the front pages of the newspaper the next day.
