Interesting information, and thanks for sharing it! If my body hadn't responded so positively to statins, I would have discontinued them without a second thought. I did read a lot about virtually insignificant effect statins have on life spans in older individuals, especially women. I believe your right about the pharmaceutical companies, and I don't trust them. However, given that I've experienced positive benefits thus far, I believe I will continue on this very low dose.
